This strain review is for Red Velvet Cake, often known as Red Velvet Kush, by Detroit Provision Co. They are in Detroit, Michigan. I have never visited this provision center before. Since I have only consumed the concentrate of this strain before, I decided to give the Red Velvet strain a try. It is a hybrid that likely has a stronger Indica bias.

The other varieties available at the supply center were all pretty frosty and looked to be in good condition. I opted to take this variety and another top shelf one they had given my options. I was informed that cherry pie was the only genetic parent. They will be the subject of a supply center review of mine soon!

KUSH RED VELVET AROMA:

A sweet smell when you open the container. It was just a nice aroma that I would want to smell all day long. If they had a cologne that smelled like this, I wouldn’t mind wearing it all day, every day.

RED VELVET LOOK:

Red Velvet Kush looked amazing. The buds were extremely frosty, just covered in trichomes. It looked like ice sleet with all those THC crystals. The bud was completely purple with little orange hairs around it. The bud had a little bit of light green to it, but it was mostly covered in purple.
